Comfortable win for Pakistan women team
Pakistan Women registered an 8-wicket win over South Africa in the 3rd ODI of the series on Thursday at the National Stadium in Karachi. South Africa’s women won the toss and opted to bat first.
After losing the toss, South Africa was bowled out for 185 runs in 48.1 overs. Nadine de Klerk was the top scorer with 60 runs, and Tazmin Brits scored 32 runs. Delmi Tucker contributed 25 runs. For Pakistan, Nida Dar, Nashra Sandhu, and Sadia Iqbal claimed two wickets each.
In reply to that, Pakistan’s women chased down the target successfully and scored 186 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 38 overs. Sidra Ameen was the top scorer with 68 runs, and Bismah Maroof scored an unbeaten 60 runs. Both Sidra Ameen and Bismah Maroof made a 110-run partnership for the second wicket and set the platform for the chase.
