Chamari named as the captain of the ICC Women’s T20I team of the year

The International Cricket Council announced the ICC Women’s T20I Team of the Year for 2023. The ICC named 11 players who performed well in women’s cricket in the calendar year 2023. 4 players from Australia, 2 players from England One player from South Africa, the West Indies, Sri Lanka, and India was included in the team. Sri Lankan women’s team skipper Chamari Athapaththu was named as the captain of the team.
