Big win for Pakistan
Pakistan registered an 88-run win over New Zealand in the 1st T20I of the series on Friday at Lahore. Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the coin toss and elected to bat first.
After winning the toss, Pakistan were bowled out for 182 runs in 19.5 overs. Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub each contributed 47 runs. Faheem Ashraf scored 22 runs. For New Zealand, Matt Henry claimed three wickets.
In reply, New Zealand were bowled out for 94 runs in 15.3 overs. Mark Chapman was the top scorer with 34 runs, and skipper Tom Latham scored 20 runs. For Pakistan, Haris Rauf claimed 4 wickets.
