Australia Chassed down the huge target
Australia registered 4 wickets win over Home side India, in 1st T20I at the Mohali on Tuesday. Australia Captain Aaron Finch won the coin toss and elected to bowl first.
India posed competitive score against Australia. They made 208 runs for lost of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. KL Rahul made 55 runs in 35 balls and Suryakumar Yadav scored 46 runs in 25 balls. Both added 68 runs partnership for the 3rd wicket. At the end of the innings Hardik Pandya played a Gem of Innings. He was the top score with an unbeaten 71 runs in just 30 balls. For Australia Nathan Ellis claimed 3 wickets.
In reply that Australia made 211 runs for lost of 6 wickets and chassed down the target successfully in 19.2overs. Cameron Green was the top scorer for Australia. He scored 61 runs in 30 balls. But Matthew Wade’s 45 runs in 21 balls helped Australia to cross the line. Axar Patel was the only successful bowler for India. He claimed 3 wickets for 17 runs.
