Afghanistan squad for the Asia Cup 2023
The Afghanistan Cricket Board announced the 17 members of the squad for the Asia Cup 2023, which gets underway from August 30th to September 17th in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Afghanistan will play against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in Group B in the upcoming Asia Cup tournament.
Hashmatullah Shahidi was named captain of the side. Afghanistan Cricket Board brought back into the ODI side their bowling allrounder Karim Janat after six years.
