Afghanistan and South Africa won the Warm – Ups

ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 Warm – Up matches started and two matches played 24th of May.

1st Match of the warm up games played between Afghanistan and Pakistan in Bristol. Pakistan batted first and they all out for 262 runs in 47.5 overs. Babar Azam was the top scorer with 112 runs in 108 balls. Mohammad Nabi claimed 3 wickets for 46 runs in his 10 overs

In reply that Afghanistan scored 263 runs for lost of 7 wickets in 49.4 overs and won the match with 3 wickets. Hashmutullah Shahidi was the top scorer for Afghanistan and he guide the team to victory with an unbeaten 74 runs

2nd Warm -up match was played between Sri Lanka and South Africa in Cardiff. South Africa batted first and scored 338 for lost of 7 wickets in their 50 overs. South African skipper Faf du Plessis scored 88 runs in 69 balls and changed the game. Every one contributed with twenties and thirties while Hashim Amla score a half Century.

In Reply that Sri Lankan manage to score 251 runs and they all out in 42.3 overs. Sri Lankan captain was the top scorer with 87 runs and Angelo Mathews scored 64 runs. However South African’s Superb Bowling performance helped them to win the warm – up match with 87 runs
