We got a good chance to qualify for the WTC final – Angelo Mathews
The Sri Lanka Test team started their training at Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln ahead of the crucial two-test match series against New Zealand on Thursday at Hagley Oval. If Sri Lanka win those two tests, they have a great chance to qualify for the World Test Championship final.

Former Sri Lankan Test captain Angelo Mathews expressed his thoughts on Sri Lanka’s tour in New Zealand. “It’s always tough to play against Kiwis” Mathews said. “We got a good chance to qualify for the World Test Championship final if we win the two games here(New Zealand). “It’s going to be a lot of hard work, and we are up for it,” he added.
