England won by 4 wickets against West Indies
England registered a 4 wicket win over West Indies, in 2nd ODI of the series, at the Antigua on Sunday. West Indies Captain Jason Holder won the coin toss, and elected to bat first.
Kraigg Brathwaite and Evin Lewis started West Indies innings and Lewis got out for 8. West Indies lost their 2nd wicket at the score of 21. 25 runs later Shai Hope fell for 16. Following of his dismissal Jason Mohammed joined with Kraigg Brathwaite and add 72 runs for the 4th wicket before Brathwaite fell for 42 runs. For West Indies, it was Jason Mohammed, who was the top scorer with 50 runs. Jonathan Carter scored 39 runs. Eventually West Indies bowled out for 225 runs in47.5 over.
In reply that England scored 226 runs and win the match with 10 balls remaining. England were off to a shaky start, as they lost Sam Billings in very first over. Following of his dismissal Joe Root joined with Jason Roy and rebuild the England innings and made 86 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket. Jason Roy scored 52 runs. England lost 4 quick wickets and they were spot of bother. However Chris Woakes and Joe Root guide the England to a victory. They made unbroken 102 runs partnership for the 7th wicket. Chris Woakes scored unbeaten 68 runs and Joe Root made 90 runs not out.
