New Zealand Clinch 50-Run Victory Over India in Fourth T20I

New Zealand registered a comfortable 50-run win over India in the fourth T20I on Wednesday at Visakhapatnam, delivering a strong all-round performance to outplay the hosts.

India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and elected to bowl first, but the decision proved costly as New Zealand put up an imposing total.

After being sent in to bat, New Zealand posted 215 for 7 in their 20 overs. Openers Devon Conway and Tim Seifert laid a solid foundation with a 100-run partnership for the first wicket. Conway scored a steady 44, while Seifert led the scoring with a well-paced 62.

The visitors accelerated in the death overs, with Daryl Mitchell providing the finishing touches, smashing an unbeaten 39 off just 18 balls to push the total beyond India’s reach.

In reply, India were bowled out for 165 runs in 18.4 overs. Shivam Dube was the lone bright spot for the hosts, scoring a quick 65 off 23 balls. Rinku Singh added 39, while Sanju Samson contributed 24, but regular wickets stalled India’s chase.

For New Zealand, Mitchell Santner starred with the ball, picking up three wickets to derail India’s batting lineup.
