Zimbabwe won the rain effected match and through to the finals
Zimbabwe won by 05 run against West Indies on D/L method and qualified for the final of the Tournament. Zimbabwe captain Graeme Cremer won the toss and elected to bat first in Bulawayo. Zimbabwe started their Innings but in the 11th over rain came and match delayed. Then its stared again and reduced 49 overs per side due to rain. Finaly Zimbabwe scored 218 runs for lost of 8 wickets in their 49 overs. Sikandar Raza played under pressure and scored 76 runs and low order batsman helped him to get a reasonable total for Zimbabwe.
In reply When West Indies chasing this target againg rain came down and match stopped. At this stage West Indies were 5 runs short according to the DLS Method and they manage to score 124 runs in 27.3 overs lost of 5 wickets. West Indies top order batsman couldn’t able to build a partnership and they lost their Wickets regular intervals. Jonathan Carter and Captain Jason Holder batted under pressure and tried to save the game. But unfortunately weather goes against them.
