England registered a 4 wicket win over Sri Lanka and qualified for the Semi-Finals of T20 World Cup 2022. At the end of the match, the head coach of Sri Lanka, Chris Silverwood, attended the Post-Match Press Conference. During the Press Conference, he talked about Kusal Mendis’s new role as a wicket keeper batsman and the Sri Lanka top order.

“Kusal has stepped up there. He scored runs at the top and kept tightly as well. We are very pleased with Kusal”. Chris Silverwood said, ” I’m very pleased with the top order, in general, the way that they have built a platform for Sri Lanka to go from with the power that we have got down the order”. he added.
