Three uncapped players included in the squad for the Test against Afghanistan

Sri Lankan media reported Sri Lanka’s probable 16-member Test squad for the upcoming only Test match against Afghanistan, which will begin on February 2 at Singhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground in Colombo. According to the report, three uncapped players—Lahiru Udara, Chamika Gunasekera, and Milan Rathnayake—were included in the squad.

Dhananjaya de Silva captained the side, while Kusal Mendis was named the vice captain. Dimuth Karunarathne, Angelo Mathews, and Dinesh Chandimal were included in the squad as senior players to strengthen the batting department.
