Tector and Dockrell took the game away from Zimbabwe

Ireland registered a six-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the 3rd T20I on Sunday in Harare. Ireland’s captain, Paul Stirling won the toss and opted to bowl first.

After losing the toss, Zimbabwe scored 140 runs for a loss of six wickets in their 20 overs. Ryan Burl was the top scorer with 36 runs. Clive Madande and Brian Bennett scored 27 runs each.

In reply to that, Ireland chased down the target successfully and scored 141 runs for a loss of 4 wickets in 18.4 overs. Harry Tector was the top scorer with an unbeaten 54 runs, while George Dockrell scored an unbeaten 49 runs. Both Tector and Dockrell made an unbroken 104-run partnership for the 5th wicket and guided the team to a victory.
