Tamim Iqbal has withdrawn his decision to retire from international cricket
Bangladesh opening batsman Tamim Iqbal has withdrawn his decision to retire from international cricket after an intervention from Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina on Friday. He announced his retirement on Thursday after a loss against Afghanistan in the 1st ODI at Chattogram.
According to the foreign media, Tamim Iqbal met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with his wife and Bangladesh’s former captain, Mashrafe Mortaza, on Friday afternoon after being invited for a meeting.
