Mrs. Susanthika Jayasinghe, an Olympic silver medalist, has been appointed as the “Consultant—Mentoring and Development of Sri Lanka Women’s Cricket” by Sri Lanka Cricket. According to the report Susanthika Jayasinghe said she was extremely happy with this new challenge as it gave her an opportunity to help young female athletes take up the game, cope with the challenges, and go on to become the “stars” they deserve to be in the future.
