Sri Lanka squad for the Asia Cup
With less than 24 hours to begin the 16th edition of the ACC Asia Cup, the Sri Lanka Cricket Board announced their 15-member squad. Dushmantha Chameera, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Dilashan Madushanka missed the Asia Cup due to injuries. Binura Ferando, Dushan Hemantha, and Pramod Madushan were brought into the squad to replace their injured players.
Sri Lanka will play in Group B, and they will play Bangladesh and Afghanistan in the group stage. Sri Lanka will play their first match against Bangladesh on August 31 at Pallekele.
