Sri Lanka squad for Test series against Bangladesh announced

Sri Lanka Cricket announce the Squad for the Two match Test series against Bangladesh  which is scheduled to be start on 7th of March. Seven Batsmen, four fast bowlers and four spin bowlers included to the squad.

Rangana Herath named as the Captain of Sri Lanka. He has lead the side to a victory against Zimbabwe few months ago.  Asela Gunarathne and Niroshan Dickwella named in Sri Lanka’s squad who was impressed in Recent ODIs and T20Is. Dinesh Chandimal, and Dhananjaya de Silva, who was dropped in Australian tour, made came back to the squad. Upul Tharanga and Kusal Mendis also include to the squad as top order batsman. While Kaushal Silva dropped from the Test squad, Dimuth Karunarthne secured his place thanks to his double hundred against England Lions.

 Uncapped 29 years old left-arm orthodox spinner Malinda Pushpakumara include to the squad after the match winning performance against England Lions. Suranga Lakmal, Lahiru Kumara, Nuwan Pradeep and Vikum Sanjaya Bandara will energized the fast bowling department. There no surprise Dilruwan Perera, Lakshan Sandakan in the squad as spinners.
