South Africa won the series with two more games to go

South Africans registered a convincing 7 wickets win over Sri Lanka, in 3rd  ODI and won the series with two more games to go, at the Johannesburg on Saturday. South African Captain AB de Villiers won the coin toss, and elected to ball first in Pink ODI.

Sri Lanka were off to a steady start, with the openers contributing 60 opening runs, before Sri Lankan skipper Upul Tharanga fell for 31 runs. After that no one able to build a good partnerships in the middle. Sri Lankan middle order collapsed once again. However Sri Lankan opener Niroshan Dickwella scored  gritty fifty and made 74 runs in 80 balls. Eventually Sri Lanka were bowled out for 163 runs in 39.2 overs. Dwaine Pretorius registered his best bowling figures in ODI matches and claimed 3 wickets for 19 runs.

In reply that South Africa scored 164 runs for lost of 3 wickets and won the match with 108 balls remaining. Quinton de Kock and Hashim Amla stared the South African innings and Lahiru Kumara break the opening stand and get his maiden ODI wicket.Quinton de Kock dismissed for 8 runs at the score of 23. 35 runs later Lahiru Madushanka claimed his first wicket and took the wicket of Faf du Plessis for 24 runs. Following of his dismissal Hasim Amla run out for 34 runs. After that JP Duminy joined with South Afircan Skipper AB de Villiers and finished the game with 108 balls remaining. AB de Villiers scored unbeaten 60 runs in 61 balls.
