Nepal qualified for the Asia Cup for the first time

Nepal registered a 7-wicket win over the United Arab Emirates in the final of the ACC Men’s Premier Cup on Tuesday at Kirtipur. UAE batted first and was bowled out for 117 runs in 33.1 overs. In reply, Nepal chased down the target successfully and scored 118 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 30.3 overs.

With that win, Nepal qualified for the Asia Cup in 2023. Nepal will play against India and Pakistan in the group stage. This year’s Asia Cup will start as an ODI tournament in September 2023 in Pakistan.
