Mumbai Indians chased down the 194 runs comfortably

 The Mumbai Indians registered a comfortable 7-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 25th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday. Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to bowl first.

After losing the toss, Royal Challengers Bengaluru scored 196 runs for a loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs. Skipper Faf du Plessis scored 61 runs, and Rajat Patidar scored 50 runs. At the back end of the inning, Dinesh Karthik smashed an unbeaten 53 runs in 23 balls. While in the bowling department, Jasprit Bumrah claimed 5 wickets for 21 balls.

In reply to that, the Mumbai Indians chased down the target successfully and scored 199 runs for a loss of 3 wickets in 15.3 overs. The Mumbai Indians were off to a flying start. Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma made a 101-run partnership in 53 balls. Rohit Sharma scored 38 runs. Ishan Kishan was the top scorer with 69 runs. Suryakumar Yadav smashed 52 runs in 19 balls, and skipper Hardik Pandya scored an unbeaten 21 runs in just six balls.
