LSG defeated the Rajasthan Royals
Lucknow Super Giants registered a 10-run win over Rajasthan Royals in the 26th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 on Wednesday at Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the coin toss and elected to bowl first.
After losing the toss, Lucknow Super Giants scored 154 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs. Kyle Mayers was the top scorer with 51 runs. Skipper KL Rahul scored 39 runs, while Nicholas Pooran contributed with 29 runs. For the Rajasthan Royals, Ravi Ashwin claimed 2 wickets for 23 runs in his 4-over spell.
In reply, Rajasthan Royals scored 144 runs for the loss of six wickets in their 20 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 44 runs, while Jos Buttler scored 40 runs. Both Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal made an 87-run partnership for the first wicket. Devdutt Padikkal scored 26 runs. For Lucknow Super Giants, Avesh Khan claimed three wickets.
