Kasun Rajitha replaced Chamika as the ‘concussion substitute’
Sri Lanka Cricket officially announced that Pacer Kasun Rajitha has been approved as the ‘concussion substitute’ for debutant Chamika Gunasekara in the only Test between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.

Chamika Gunasekara was hit on the helmet while he was batting in the 1st inning for Sri Lanka. The incident happened during the 107th over of Sri Lanka’s first innings. The ball hits the back of the helmet, which was bowled by Naveed Zadran. After that, two overs later, he went off the field. In the very next ball, Sri Lanka’s last batsman, Asitha Fernando, was dismissed, and Chamika Gunasekara didn’t come out to bat again, bringing an end to Sri Lanka’s 1st inning with 439 runs.
