Ish Sodhi destroyed Bangladesh

New Zealand registered an 86-run win over Bangladesh in the 2nd ODI of the series on Saturday at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. New Zealand captain Lockie Ferguson won the toss and opted to bat first.

After winning the toss, New Zealand bowled out 254 runs in 49.2 overs. Tom Blundell was the top scorer with 68 runs, and Henry Nicholls scored 49 runs. Ish Sodhi contributed with 35 runs. For Bangladesh, Khaled Ahmed and Mahedi Hasan claimed two wickets each.

In reply to that, Bangladesh bowled out 168 runs in 41.1 overs. Mahmudullah was the top scorer for Bangladesh, and Tamim Iqbal scored 44 runs. For New Zealand, Ish Sodhi claimed six wickets.
