Irelands beat England

Ireland registered 5 runs win over England according to the DLS method, in 20th T20I of the T20I World Cup at the Melbourne on Wednesday. England Captain Jos Buttler won the coin toss and elected to bowl first.

After losing the toss Ireland bowled out for 157 runs in 19.2 overs. Ireland innings was interrupted by rain in several times. However Ireland team lucky enough to play their full 20 overs. Andrew Balbirnie was the top scorer with 62 runs. Harry Tector contributed with 34 runs. For England, Sam Curran and Liam Livingstone claimed 3 wickets each.

In reply that England had to play only 14. 3 overs due to rain. England were 5 runs behind as per DLS when its start to rain. However there wasn’t enough time to get the game restarted. There for Ireland claimed 5 runs win over England. For England Dawid Malan scored 35 runs and Moeen Ali scored an unbeaten 24 runs.
