India Women take a 1-0 series lead

Indian Women registered 7 wickets win over England Women, in 1st ODI at the Hove on Sunday. Indian Women Captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the coin toss and elected to bowl first.

England Women scored 227 runs for lost of 7 wickets in their 50 overs. Davidson Richards was the top score with an unbeaten 50 runs and Ecclestone scored 31 runs. For Deepti Sharma claimed 2 wickets.

In reply that India Women made 232 runs for lost of 3 wickets in 44.2overs. Smriti Mandhana was the top scorer for India. She scored 91 runs. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur scored an unbeaten 74 runs. Smriti Mandhana and Yastika Bhatia made 96 runs for the 2nd wicket. Also the had another 99 runs partnership for the 3rd wicket between Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur.
