Huge win for Lucknow Super Giants
Lucknow Super Giants registered a 56-run win over Punjab Kings in the 38th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 on Friday at Mohali. Punjab Kings captain Shikhar Dhawan won the coin toss and elected to bowl first.
After losing the toss, the Lucknow Super Giants posted a huge total of 257 runs for the loss of five wickets in their 20 overs. Marcus Stoinis was the top scorer with 72 runs in 40 balls, and Kyle Mayers scored 54 runs. Nicholas Pooran scored 45 runs, while Ayush Badoni contributed 43 runs.
In reply, Punjab Kings bundle out for 201 runs in 19.5 overs. Atharva Taide scored 66 runs, and Sikandar Raza scored 36 runs. Jitesh Sharma contributed 24 runs, while Liam Livingstone scored 23 runs. For the Lucknow Super Giants, Yash Thakur claimed four wickets.
