“Good 15 years more left in you” – Mathews on Avishka

Sri Lanka opening batsman Avishka Fernando has shared some photos on social media where he was training. He posted those photos with motivation captions, and said that “It always seems impossible until it is done.”

However, Fomer Sri Lankan Captain and Avishka’s teammate Angelo Mathews replied to that Tweet and said ” Weldone champ keep pushing, good 15 years more left in you”.

24-year-old Avishka has good numbers under his belt as an opener. He made his ODI debut when he was 18 years old. Avishka made his ODI debut in 2016 against Australia. He has scored 964 runs in 26 innings.
