England registered a comfortable win against Ireland

England registered 48 runs over Ireland in the 2nd ODI of the series on Saturday at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Ireland captain Paul Stirling won the toss and opted to bowl first.

After losing the toss, England scored 334 runs for a loss of eight wickets in their 50 overs. Will Jacks was the top scorer with 94 runs, and Sam Hain scored 89 runs. Brydon Carse contributed with 32 runs. For Ireland, George Dockrell claimed three wickets.

In reply to that, Ireland bowled out 46.4 overs. George Dockrell was the top scorer with 43 runs, and Barry McCarthy scored 41 runs. Craig Young scored an unbeaten 40 runs. For England, Rehan Ahmed claimed four wickets.
