Ashan Priyanjan scored fifty on his ODI debut

In 25th of December 2013, Sri Lankan middle-order batsman Ashan Priyanjan made his debut in ODI matches at Abu Dhabi. He made his maiden ODI fifty on his debut against Pakistan. Ashan Priyanjan scored 74 runs in 93 balls with 10 fours. The score stands as the highest score by a Sri Lankan batsmen on his debut. Unfortunately Sri Lanka lost the match by 8 wickets.
