Comfortable win for RCB
Royal Challengers Bangalore registered a 24-run win over Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League 2023 on Thursday at Mohali. Punjab Kings captain Sam Curran won the toss and elected to bowl first.
After losing the toss, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 174 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs. Virat Kohli scored 59 runs, while Faf du Plessis scored 84 runs. Both du Plessis and Kohli made a 137-run partnership for the first wicket.
In reply, Punjab Kings bundle out for 150 runs in 18 overs. Prabhsimran Singh was the top scorer with 46 runs. Jitesh Sharma contributed 41 runs. For Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mohammed Siraj claimed 4 wickets and Wanindu Hasaranga Hasaranga took 2 wickets.
