Bangladesh won the dead rubber

Bangladesh registered a 50-run win over England in the 3rd and final ODI of the series. Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal won the toss and elected to bat first. 

After winning the toss, Bangladesh hasn’t had a good start. They lost Litton Das in the very first over for 00 when the score was just 01. 16 runs later, Bangladesh lost their captain Tamim for 11. After a terrible start, Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mushfiqur Rahim made a 98-run partnership for the third wicket and rebuilt the innings. Shanto unfortunately runout for 53 runs. 38 runs later, Rahim was dismissed for 70 runs. After that, Mahmudullah got out for eight runs. Bangladesh lost a few wickets in quick succession, but Shakib Al Hasan held his nerve and made some valuable partnerships with the tailenders. Shakib made 75 runs. For England, Jofra Archer claimed three wickets.  Eventually, Bangladesh were bowled out for 246 runs in 48.5 overs. 

In reply, England had a perfect start with a 54-run partnership between Philip Salt and Jason Roy. Philip Salt scored 35 runs. After that, England lost three wickets and lost the momentum. However, Sam Curran and James Vince added 49 runs for the fourth wicket before Sam Curran was dismissed for 23 runs. Bangladesh bowlers kept things tight and took wickets at regular intervals. James Vince was the top scorer with 38 runs, and Jos Buttler scored 26 runs. At the back end of the inning, Chris Woakes scored 34 runs.   Eventually, England were bowled out for 196 runs in 43.1 overs. 

Even though Bangladesh won the third ODI. England has won the series 2-1.
