Back to back wins for Netherlands

Netherlands registered 5 wickets win over Namibia, in 5th T20II of the T20I World Cup at the Geelong on Tuesday. Namibia Captain Gerhard Erasmus won the coin toss and elected to bat first.

After winning the toss Namibia manage to score 121 runs for lost of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Jan Frylinck was the top scorer with 43 runs. Michael van Lingen contributed with 20 runs. For Netherlands Bas de Leede claimed 2 wickets.

In reply that Netherlands made 122 runs for lost of 5 wickets in 19.3 overs. Netherlands had a solid start. Vikramjit Singh and Max ODowd made 59 runs partnership for the first wicket. Vikramjit Singh was the top scorer with 39 runs. Max ODowd made 35 runs. However Namibia took 4 wickets with in 10 runs and put pressure on Netherlands. Eventually Netherlands cross the line 3 balls to spare.
