Bangladesh shine on the Day one

Bangladesh captain Mominul Haque won the toss and elected to bat first in the first Test between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Tamim Iqbal and Saif Hassan could not give a successful start. Saif Hassan out for duck. After that Najmul Hossain Shanto joined with Tamim Iqbal and made 144 runs partnership for the second wicket. Unfortunately Tamim missed his 10th Test hundred and he dismissed for 90. Following of his dismissal Bangladesh skipper Mominul Haque joined with Najmul Hossain Shanto and batter throughout the day and made 150 unbroken partnership for the 3rd wicket. At the end of the Day one Bangladesh player able to score 302 runs for lost of 2 wickets. Najmul Hossain Shanto made unbeaten 126 and Mominul Haque made unbeaten 64 runs. Vishwa Fernando the only wicket taker for Sri Lanka and he claimed 2 wickets.
