Wanindu Hasaranga Ruled Out of Bangladesh T20I Series Due to Injury

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has confirmed that Wanindu Hasaranga, the team’s premier all-rounder, will miss the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh due to a hamstring injury.

Hasaranga sustained the injury on his right leg while batting during the third and final ODI of the series held at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. Medical scans have since confirmed the extent of the injury, ruling him out of the short-format series.

The three-match T20I series is scheduled to commence on Thursday, July 10
