Sri Lanka Cricket has made a tight schedule for the LPL 2024
Sri Lanka Cricket announced the full fixtures for the upcoming Lanka Premier League. The 5th edition of the Lanka Premier League will begin on July 1 at Pallekele. The defending champion Kandy team and the runner-up in the last edition, the Dambulla team, will play the opening game of the tournament.
20 group stage matches will be played between 5 teams, and 2 qualifier matches and 1 eliminator will play before the final on July 21 at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Matches will be played at Pallekele, Dambulla, and Colombo.
According to the schedule, the Lanka Premier League will start within 2 days after the T20 World Cup 2024. Once again, Sri Lanka Cricket has made a tight schedule with double-headers for the tournament.
