Kolkata Knight Riders beats Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Kolkata Knight Riders registered a 7-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 10th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday. Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bowl first.

After losing the toss, Royal Challengers Bengaluru scored 182 runs for a loss of six wickets in their 20 overs. Virat Kohli was the star with the bat and scored an unbeaten 83 runs, and Cameron Green scored 33 runs. At the back end of the inning, Dinesh Karthik scored 20 runs on eight balls. For the Kolkata Knight Riders, Andre Russell and Harshit Rana claimed two wickets each.

In reply to that, the Kolkata Knight Riders chased down the target successfully and scored 186 runs for a loss of 3 wickets in 16.5 overs. Venkatesh Iyer was the top scorer with 50 runs, and Sunil Narine scored 47 runs in 22 balls. Skipper Shreyas Iyer scored an unbeaten 39 runs.
