Sri Lanka announced the squad for the ODI series against Bangladesh

Sri Lanka announced the 16 member squad for the upcoming ODI series against Bangladesh. Kusal Mendis will captain the side, while Charith Asalanka will work as the vice captain. Sri Lankan opening batsman Pathum Nissanka, who missed the T20I series due to an injury, was included in the squad. Lahiru Kumara and Pramod Madushan were brought back in to the side along with Dilshan Madushanka to strengthen the pace attack.

Former captains Dasun Shanaka and Angelo Mathews were not included in the squad.
