01. Partnership between Jan Frylinck and JJ Smit

At one stage Namibia were struggling with 93 for 6 in 14.2 overs. After that Jan Frylinck and JJ Smit made 70 runs partnership for the 7th wicket. This partnership helped Namibia to post 163 runs on the board. Jan Frylinck made 44 runs in 28 balls and JJ Smit scored an unbeaten 31 runs in just 16 balls.

02. Leaked runs in death overs.

Namibia scored 68 runs in their last 5 overs. In last 3 overs Sri Lanka given away 47 runs including 8 extras. Sri Lankan death bowling specialist Lasith Malinga also tweeted on this and said “Too much runs given away at the death. Fast bowlers were a bit rusty.”

03. Ben Shikongo wicket maiden over

Namibia fast bowler Ben Shikongo bowled a 2 wickets maiden over and put Sri Lanka under pressure in early in the innings. He took the wickets of Pathum Nissanka and Danushka Gunathilaka in two consecutive balls. After that Sri Lanka on the back foot and doesn’t look for attack the Namibian Bowlers.
