150 Test wickets for Dilruwan Perera

36 years old Sri Lankan offspinner Dilruwan Perera became the fourth Sri Lankan to reach 150 wickets milestone in Test matches. He achieved this milestone when he dismissed Tim Southee in the New Zealand 1st innings of the 2nd Test at Christchurch.

Muttiah Muralitharan (795),Rangana Herath (433) and Chaminda Vaas (355) were the three other Sri Lankans how have 150 or more wickets in Test matches.

Dilruwan Perera took 150 wickets in 36 matches and equal the record of Muttiah Muralitharan fastest to get 150 wickets for Sri Lanka. Also Dilruwan Perera hold the record for fastest to get 50 and 100 wickets for Sri Lanka. He claimed 50 wickets in 11 matches and 100 wickets in 25 matches.
