Tim David finished the game in style

Mumbai Indians registered a six-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in the 42nd match of the Indian Premier League 2023 on Saturday in Mumbai. Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the coin toss and elected to bat first.

After winning the toss, the Rajasthan Royals scored 212 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal was the star with the bat and made his maiden IPL hundred, scoring 124 runs in 62 balls with 16 fours and 8 sixes. Jos Buttler contributed 18 runs. For the Mumbai Indians, Arshad Khan claimed three wickets.

In reply, the Mumbai Indians chased down the taregt successfully and scored 214 runs for the loss of four wickets in 19.3 overs. Suryakumar Yadav scored 55 runs, and Cameron Green scored 44 runs. Tim David finished the game in style, hitting three consecutive sixes in the final over and scoring an unbeaten 45 runs.
