Third consecutive win for Gujarat

The Lucknow Super Giants registered a 33-run win over the Gujarat Titans in the 21st match of the Indian Premier League 2024 at Ekana International Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Sunday. Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul won the toss and opted to bat first. 

After winning the toss, the Lucknow Super Giants scored 163 runs for a loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs. Marcus Stoinis was the top scorer with 58 runs, and Nicholas Pooran scored an unbeaten 32 runs. Skipper KL Rahul made 33 runs. 

In reply to that, the Gujarat Titans bowled out 130 runs in 18.5 overs. Sai Sudharsan and skipper Shubman Gill made a 54-run partnership for the first wicket. Shubman Gill scored 19 runs, and Sai Sudharsan made 31 runs. However, after that, Gujarat lost the moment and lost the wickets at regular intervals. At the back end of the inning, Rahul Tewatia scored 30 runs. For the Lucknow Super Giants, Yash Thakur claimed 5 wickets, while Krunal Pandya chipped in with 3 wickets.
