Temba Bavuma laid the groundwork for great chasse

South Africa defeated England by five wickets in the second ODI of the series on Saturday in Bloemfontein. South Africa captain Temba Bavuma won the coin toss and elected to bowl first.

After losing the toss, England made a huge total on the board. Skipper Jos Buttler was the top scorer with an unbeaten 94 runs in 82 balls. Harry Brook contributed 80 runs, while Moeen Ali scored 51 runs. Eventually, England made 342 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 50 overs.

In reply, South Africa chased down the target successfully with 49.1 overs. South African captain Temba Bavuma set the platform with 109 runs. Aiden Markram scored 49 runs, and Rassie van der Dussen scored 38 runs. David Miller and Marco Jansen finished the game in style with a 58 and a 32, respectively. Eventually, South Africa scored 347 runs for the loss of five wickets in 49.1 overs.
