Sri Lanka level the series

Sri Lanka Women registered a 7-wicket win over Bangladesh Women in the 2nd T20I on Thursday at Colombo. Sri Lanka Women captain Chamari Athapaththu won the coin toss and elected to bowl first.

After losing the toss, Bangladesh Women bundle out for 100 runs in 18.3 overs. Both Shamima Sultana and Sobhana Mostary scored 18 runs each. Rubya Haider scored 16 runs, while Murshida Khatun contributed 14 runs. For Sri Lanka, Inoka Ranaweera claimed 2 wickets for 9 runs.

In reply, Sri Lanka Women chased down the target successfully and scored 101 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 18.3 overs. Chamari Athapaththu scored 33 runs, and Harshitha Samarawickrama scored an unbeaten 29 runs. Kavisha Dilhari contributed with an unbeaten 20 runs.
