Sri Lanka is in Group B in Women’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup
The Asian Cricket Council announced Hong Kong as the host nation of the upcoming Asian Cricket Council Women’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup. Eight teams will take part in this tournament, including national ”A” teams from Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Thailand, and Bangladesh, and national teams from Hong Kong, Malaysia, and the UAE. All these teams will compete across two groups, and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.
Sri Lanka’s A team will play against Bangladesh A, UAE, and Malaysia in Group B. India A, Pakistan A Thailand A and Hong Kong in Group A. The tournament will begin from June 10th to June 21st, 2023, and all the matches will be played at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground.
