Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan guided Gujarat to victory

Rajasthan Royals registered a three-wicket win over Gujarat Titans in the 24th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Friday. Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to bowl first.

After losing the toss, the Rajasthan Royals scored 196 runs for a loss of 3 wickets in their 20 overs. Riyan Parag was the top scorer with the bat and scored 76 runs, and skipper Sanju Samson scored an unbeaten 68 runs. For the Gujarat Titans, Rashid Khan claimed one wicket for 18 runs.

In reply to that, the Gujarat Titans chased down the target successfully in the last ball of the 20th over and scored 199 runs for a loss of seven wickets. Shubman Gill was the top scorer with 72 runs, and Sai Sudharsan scored 35 runs. At the back end of the inning, Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan made a 38-run partnership and guided the team to victory. Rahul Tewatia scored 22 runs in 11 balls, and Rashid Khan scored an unbeaten 24 runs in 11 balls. For the Rajasthan Royals, Kuldeep Sen claimed three wickets.
