October 22: Kusal Mendis’s Test debut

On this day in 2015, Sri Lankan batter Kusal Mendis made his debut in Test matches. He played his maiden Test match against the West Indies at P. Saravanamuttu International Cricket Stadium in Colombo. He scored 13 and 39 runs in his debut.
