After losing the toss, Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 200 runs for the loss of five wickets. Vivrant Sharma scored 69 runs, and Mayank Agarwal was the top scorer with 83 runs. Both Agarwal and Sharma made a 140-run partnership for the first wicket. For the Mumbai Indians, Akash Madhwal claimed four wickets.
In reply, the Mumbai Indians chased down the target successfully and scored 201 runs for the loss of two wickets in 18 overs. Rohit Sharma scored 56 runs. Cameron Green was the top scorer with an unbeaten 100 runs. Both Rohit Sharma and Cameron Green added 128 runs for the second wicket. Suryakumar Yadav contributed with an unbeaten 25 runs.
