March 11: Kumar Sangakkara’s fourth consecutive hundred

On this day in 2015, Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara became the first player to score four consecutive hundreds in World Cup matches as well as ODI matches. Kumar Sangakkara scored 124 runs against Scotland at Hobart for his fourth consecutive hundred. Previously He scored unbeaten 105 and 117 runs against Bangladesh and England, respectively, and made 104 runs against Australia in three consecutive matches.
