Comfortable win for Rajastan

Rajasthan Royals registered a comfortable six-wicket win over Mumbai Indians in the 14th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday. Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the toss and opted to bowl first.

After losing the toss, the Mumbai Indians were off to a horrible start, and they lost their top order cheaply. After a sheaky start, Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma made a 56-run partnership for the 5th wicket. Hardik Pandya was the top scorer with 34 runs. Tilak Varma scored 32 runs. Tim David scored 17 runs. While in the bowling department, Yuzvendra Chahal and Trent Boult claimed three wickets each. Eventually, the Mumbai Indians managed to score 125 runs for a loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs.

In reply to that, the Rajasthan Royals chased down the target successfully and scored 127 runs for a loss of 4 wickets in 15.3 overs. Riyan Parag was the star with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 54 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin scored 16 runs, while Jos Buttler contributed 13 runs.
