A comfortable win for the Gujarat Titans

Gujarat Titans registered a 9-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in the 48th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 on Friday at Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to bat first.

After winning the toss, the Rajasthan Royals bundle out for 118 runs in 17.5 overs. Skipper Sanju Samson was the top scorer with 30 runs, and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 14 runs. Trent Boult contributed 15 runs. For the Gujarat Titans, Rashid Khan claimed three wickets.

In reply, the Gujarat Titans chased down the target successfully and scored 119 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in 13.5 overs. Wriddhiman Saha scored an unbeaten 41 runs, and Hardik Pandya scored an unbeaten 39 runs. Shubman Gill scored 36 runs. Both Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha made a 71-run partnership for the first wicket.
